All Hail the Christmas Moon

Eleven years ago, in September 1999, a group of will-be authors gathered at my former apartment for a first-time support group meeting.  That night, a lunar eclipse turned the moon bright red, hence our name:  Red Moons.  Last night, on the Winter Solstice, another lunar eclipse turned the full moon red in a dazzling display.  If you had the audacity to sleep through it (like we did!), and know that the next Red Moon won’t occur until 2094, here’s a link to some of the best images:   Red Moons has been meeting monthly ever since. Merry Christmas Moon….Write On!
