After eight years of community leadership (and being asked to run three times) Tom finally agreed to join the race for City Councilor of Salem, Oregon. His campaign is off and running with full support for “The Bike & Bow-tie Guy.” Tom’s fabulous, hard-working team has so many lawn signs up that our ward looks like Tom Andersenland! Below is a photo of handsome Norwegian-American activist, Bob Monson, displaying the first sign. Local politics can be fun! They sure are for us.
